How Little Do Your Visitors Read?
Web usability expert Jakob Nieslen recently reported that:
“On the average Web page, users have time to read at most 28% of the words during an average visit; 20% is more likely.”
It seems that web surfers don’t waste much time in deciding on the usefulness of a web page… and the longer the page, the “less” of it that actually gets read!
Remember this with every Internet-based communication you make!
Especially with email marketing.
Jakob’s recommendation? In most cases…
“You’d be wise to put your word count on a strict diet!”
